Jordan Brand is set to drop a brand new Air Jordan 2 in June with the arrival of the Air Jordan 2 “Wings”. Part of the annual Jordan Wings Program, this Air Jordan 2 honors Howard “H” White, Vice President of Jordan Brand for Nike, Inc., and founder of “Believe to Achieve,” a national Nike youth movement.
Taking on a simple and clean color combination of White, Malachite, and Black, this Air Jordan 2 features a White leather construction all over the upper which is then joined by Black accents on the eyelets, laces, inner liner, and midsole. Malachite (green) is then seen on the heels and Wings logos on the tongues as well as on the outsole. Standout details include side panels made to resemble a pair of wings covered in feather print, a translucent heel piece with an “H” to pays tribute to Howard “H” White, as well as more “H” logos on the insoles. To cap off the look the sneaker comes with extra sets of laces with “Power” and “Belief” printed on the tips. The Air Jordan 2 “Wings” is currently expected to release online and at select retailers on June 10th for $210.
